Since 2017, the Canadian Alliance for Dental Technology Regulators (CADTR) has been working to create consistent credentialing and assessment processes across Canada to ensure Canadians have access to an educated and skilled dental technology workforce. If you’re interested in supporting this important initiative, consider being one of the first members to serve on newly appointed committees that will help carry out CADTR’s work in credentialing and assessment services on behalf of its Members – the Canadian provincial dental technology regulators! As a Committee member, you may provide strategic advice and make recommendations to the CADTR Board on matters respecting the entry-to-practice credentialing and competency assessment programs, policies and effective service delivery or provide expertise in developing, reviewing, revising and setting standards for the Dental Technology Entry-to Practice Assessment (DTETPA) or consider and render decisions on appeals.
We are looking for individuals with a variety of experience and knowledge in areas including health profession regulation, dental technology practice, dental technology education, credential evaluation, and competency assessment. Being on a Committee will help you acquire new skills, network with industry professionals, and strengthen your knowledge of the regulatory environment.
CADTR’s Committees meet 1-3 times per year or more frequently if required. CADTR offers an honorarium for committee work. Due to COVID-19, meetings will be held virtually. Learn more about each Committee by reviewing their terms of reference: check these
